When cellular networks are unavailable, the AT2 lets you send text, voice, images, and your last known location before network loss directly over the radio on the APP. It keeps your team connected even in remote areas where phones alone cannot.

In addition to standard UHF operation for compatibility with other radios, AT2 also offers a dedicated communication mode that works exclusively between AT2 devices on the same channel, helping reduce unwanted interference from other radios.

A: Not at all! The AT2 uses its own digital RF (Radio Frequency) technology to transmit texts, pictures, and locations between AT2 units. It works completely off the grid.

Q: How can I send voice, images or text without a cell signal?
A: After pairing with the Ola Radio app via Bluetooth, the AT2 uses radio frequencies to send text, voice, and images directly to other AT2 units—no cellular network required.

Q：Can I send multiple messages at once in Off-Grid mode?
A: No, the AT2 supports one message at a time. Please wait for the current transmission to complete before sending the next one to avoid delivery failure.

Q：Why does it take longer to send images and how can I ensure success?
A：Image transfer via radio takes 15s or more depending on signal strength and file size. For a successful transfer, place the AT2 in an open area, avoid holding the antenna, and re-send if the signal is interrupted.

Q: How does the Smart Link / Zello mode work?
A: Through Bluetooth connection to your phone, you can configure the AT2's PTT button to act as a remote trigger for network-based walkie-talkie apps like Zello, or even double-click to wake up Siri. (Note: This disables standard RF transmission while in use).

Q: Can I program this radio from my iPhone or Android?
A: Yes. The AT2 features built-in Bluetooth that connects to our custom App, allowing you to seamlessly program channels, adjust squelch, and manage settings directly from your smartphone.
